The energySmart program from Nicor Gas™ offer rebates for programmable thermostats, high-efficiency furnaces, high-efficiency boilers, home and water heating units and more. Energy efficient products use less energy and will keep your home comfortable during every season. There are cash rebates available for certain types of upgrades from Nicor Gas™. There are also air sealing and insulation rebates available.

Owners of single-family homes, individually-metered condos, apartments, and townhomes can get rebates from doing a wide variety of energy-saving improvements which includes the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, insulation, and more. To qualify, new equipment must be installed, and old equipment must be removed from the home. Only new products will qualify to meet the energy-efficiency requirements of the residential application. Rebates cannot exceed the cost of the project.

Homeowners can receive rebates and savings from installing new and more modern and energy efficient appliances and insulation in their homes. This rebate program is for owners of single-family homes, apartments, individually-metered condos, townhomes, and two-flats.
